How a Letter from Santa Can Positively Help Your Child

December 7, 2012

Christmas is all about being with family, sharing and giving. What better way to incorporate all three of those than by giving a child a personalized letter from Santa? A letter from Santa has many positive advantages and can provide much more than just a great Christmas gift for that special child in your life.

A Letter from Santa creates smiles, excitement and everlasting memories.

Not much can compare to the excitement of receiving a letter in the mail as a child, except if that letter came from Santa Claus himself! Your child will be astonished to know that Santa not only exists but that he knows tons about your child. A letter from Santa is something your child will remember and talk about for years to come.

smiling child

A Letter from Santa encourages good behavior and reinforces sharing and giving.

Receiving a Santa letter telling your child Good job with their behavior is quite possibly one of the highest accomplishments a person can receive during childhood.  Children strive all year not fully knowing if they’ve made the cut to be on the official Good List or not. Now your child can know for sure that they have done a job well done.  Most Santa letters also mention sharing with friends and family and tell about the importance of giving.

A Santa letter helps maintain childhood innocence by keeping the belief in Santa alive.

Your child will be amazed when they receive a letter full of information only Santa could know. Each letter mentions your child’s name, friends, achievements, city and more. Believing in Santa is a part of childhood innocence most of us wish we could get back. Help your child have lasting memories about Santa Claus by ordering your Santa letter now.

Child Smiling

Santa letters let child know they are special and thought of.

Every kid likes to feel loved, especially by Santa and Santa letters help with that. Your child will forever remember the excitement they feel when they receive a personalized letter from Santa specific to them. Santa can even include a custom P.S. to your child.

Santa letters also help build confidence and self esteem

Build confidence and self-esteem in your child by creating a letter from Santa that both applauds and encourages good behavior and a positive attitude. Santa letters are personalized to your child and can make mention of accomplishments and goals your child has achieved. Sometimes it’s nice to have someone other than your parents tell you “Good Job” and a letter from Santa does just that.

A Special Interview with Santa’s Elf

November 18, 2012

Can you believe that Christmas is only 5 weeks away?! Have you ordered a letter from Santa for your child yet?

Boy oh boy have we been busy this season! There are so many good girls and boys, Santa is so proud!  Since Elf Bob and I work closely in Parent-Elf Relations and don’t get to work in Santa’s Workshop quite as much as we’d like, we’ve conducted an interview with the Head Elf of the Workshop so you can get the inside scoop of what the elves do and an answer to all those burning questions.

I met with Elf Sparks via webcam and here’s what he had to say.

Me: “Hey Sparks! Thanks for taking the time to chat with me”

Elf Sparks: “Hello to you! It’s my pleasure. I’m sorry that this has to be short. As you know, this is our busy season.”

Me: “I understand. We get many questions from parents and children about the Elves, The Workshop, Rudolph and Santa, maybe you can help me clear up a few things?”

Elf Sparks: “Sure, I’m happy to help.”

Me: “All of the elves work year round, some have time for a small vacation here and there, do the elves who work in the Workshop get vacations?”

Elf Sparks: “We take a vacation right after Christmas is over to celebrate all the happiness we’ve brought to children all over the world. It’s the only vacation I get to take but that’s because I am Head of the entire Workshop. Most of the other elves are able to squeeze in one more vacation during the year.”

Me: “How do you and the elves make all the toys for the good boys and girls?

Elf Sparks: “We’re the largest distributor of toys in the world! We’re very focused and hardworking but most of all we LOVE what we do. We have a great team of elves who believe in the magic of Christmas with all their heart. This helps all of us make toys at record breaking speeds!”

Me: “Do you like working all year long making toys?”

Elf Sparks: “We love making toys for children everyday knowing they are going to be so happy when they receive their gift from Santa. The joy that we help bring the children makes it all worth it!”

Me: “Everyone wants to know, Is Rudolph really a reindeer? Does he really have a red nose? Can he really fly?”

Elf Sparks: “Of course Rudolph is real! Who do you think guides the sleigh on Christmas Eve?  His nose does shine red but only on Christmas Eve when belief in Santa and Christmas magic is at it’s peek or when he’s really embarrassed. And Yes, Rudolph can fly, just like all the other reindeer. Belief in Santa and Christmas is what helps them fly.”

Me: “Do you have any hobbies?”

Elf Sparks: “I like to play games.  My favorite game is Monopoly and Hide and Go Seek. All the reindeer, elves and even Santa join in on some of the games too!  I also like to paint. I’m not the best painter but I do my best and that’s what counts.”

Me: “What’s your favorite cookie”?

Elf Sparks: ”My personal favorite is plain sugar cookie with sprinkles. I love the sprinkles! Mrs. Claus makes the BEST sugar Christmas cookies. I can almost taste them now. Yum. Santa’s favorite are peppermint cookies. He especially loves them when he’s away from the workshop because they remind him of Christmas. “

Me: “Now to my last few questions. We all know about the Good List, every child wants to be on it, but what about the Naughty list? Are there many children on it?

Elf Sparks:”Oh yes, there are lots of children on the naughty list, even some adults too. There is still hope though, a lot of those on the naughty list make it onto the Good List with last minute good deeds during the Christmas season. It’s important to remember to be good ALL year so you don’t have to worry about making “the cut” right before Christmas”

Me: “People want to know, how does Santa do it? How does he get to every house on the planet in one night? How does he get down the chimney? What if a house doesn’t have a chimney? The whole world wants to know!”

Elf Sparks: “You know the answer, but I’ll tell you. Magic of course! How else? There are billions of children in the world, there’d be no way for Santa to reach them all without magic.  For those without a chimney, he has a magic key, silly!”

Me: “So what’s been the most popular Christmas gift request in 2012 so far?”

Elf Sparks: “Children all over are hoping and wishing to receive a personalized letter from Santa or a personalized gifts from Santa. These letters and boxes are causing a stir all over the world and have made Santa super, extra busy! Children want these packages because it provides overwhelming evidence that Santa is real and assures them that they have made the Good List. Parents can order packages for their children through the Elf-Parent Relation headquarter’s website, www.topsantaletters.com.”

Me: “Is there anything special you would like to say to the children?”

Elf Sparks: “Be happy! Be kind! Smile! Make everyday a bit like Christmas!”

Well there you have it! Your biggest questions about Santa and the Elves have been answered.

Pinterest Halloween Ideas from Santa’s Elves

October 12, 2012

Halloween is just around the corner and we elves couldn’t be more excited. Halloween is our second favorite holiday, after Christmas of course! It’s one of the few occasions we can dress in full elf uniform and not get funny looks. Nothing sparks my holiday spirit more than putting on my green and red stockings, Santa hat and elf shoes. I simply love it.

Halloween is such a creative holiday. There are so many different decorations, costumes, and treats to choose from.  Since Pinterest and DIY are huge this Halloween season, I’ve put together some of my favorite spooky ideas from my Pinterest board for you to enjoy. Maybe you and your family can try a few!

Halloween Decoration- Crepe Paper Streamer Mummy Door:

This is a super cute and easy to make Halloween decoration for your front door.

What you need:

  • Crepe paper streamers- white
  • White paper for eyes

 How to:

  • Wrap white crepe paper streamer around door to create mummy look.
  • Cut 2 large circles from white paper for eyes
  • Color in 2 smaller circles on the eyes to make pupils
  • Tape eyes to door

Family Halloween Costumes

This post has 8 family costumes with instructions listed.  My favorite one is the Willy Wonka family. They even included the dog! I wonder if we could dress the reindeer as Wonka bars? …… hmmm.

Are you doing a family costume set this year? We want to know what your ideas are.

Halloween Hand print and Arm print Craft

Who doesn’t like arts and crafts? This is a fun and easy craft that kids love because it involves paint. You can display the prints as art or put away as a keepsake. Fun for the whole family.

What you need:

  • Trace Child’s foot prints on green construction paper. Then cut out foot print and glue in place.
  • Use a black thumbprint to make the ghosts’ mouth and use black finger prints to make the eyes

A Healthier Halloween Treat

Halloween is all about candy, candy, candy so here is a healthier treat that still looks fun and is delicious!

How to:
