A Special Interview with Santa’s Elf

November 18, 2012

Can you believe that Christmas is only 5 weeks away?! Have you ordered a letter from Santa for your child yet?

Boy oh boy have we been busy this season! There are so many good girls and boys, Santa is so proud!  Since Elf Bob and I work closely in Parent-Elf Relations and don’t get to work in Santa’s Workshop quite as much as we’d like, we’ve conducted an interview with the Head Elf of the Workshop so you can get the inside scoop of what the elves do and an answer to all those burning questions.

I met with Elf Sparks via webcam and here’s what he had to say.

Me: “Hey Sparks! Thanks for taking the time to chat with me”

Elf Sparks: “Hello to you! It’s my pleasure. I’m sorry that this has to be short. As you know, this is our busy season.”

Me: “I understand. We get many questions from parents and children about the Elves, The Workshop, Rudolph and Santa, maybe you can help me clear up a few things?”

Elf Sparks: “Sure, I’m happy to help.”

Me: “All of the elves work year round, some have time for a small vacation here and there, do the elves who work in the Workshop get vacations?”

Elf Sparks: “We take a vacation right after Christmas is over to celebrate all the happiness we’ve brought to children all over the world. It’s the only vacation I get to take but that’s because I am Head of the entire Workshop. Most of the other elves are able to squeeze in one more vacation during the year.”

Me: “How do you and the elves make all the toys for the good boys and girls?

Elf Sparks: “We’re the largest distributor of toys in the world! We’re very focused and hardworking but most of all we LOVE what we do. We have a great team of elves who believe in the magic of Christmas with all their heart. This helps all of us make toys at record breaking speeds!”

Me: “Do you like working all year long making toys?”

Elf Sparks: “We love making toys for children everyday knowing they are going to be so happy when they receive their gift from Santa. The joy that we help bring the children makes it all worth it!”

Me: “Everyone wants to know, Is Rudolph really a reindeer? Does he really have a red nose? Can he really fly?”

Elf Sparks: “Of course Rudolph is real! Who do you think guides the sleigh on Christmas Eve?  His nose does shine red but only on Christmas Eve when belief in Santa and Christmas magic is at it’s peek or when he’s really embarrassed. And Yes, Rudolph can fly, just like all the other reindeer. Belief in Santa and Christmas is what helps them fly.”

Me: “Do you have any hobbies?”

Elf Sparks: “I like to play games.  My favorite game is Monopoly and Hide and Go Seek. All the reindeer, elves and even Santa join in on some of the games too!  I also like to paint. I’m not the best painter but I do my best and that’s what counts.”

Me: “What’s your favorite cookie”?

Elf Sparks: ”My personal favorite is plain sugar cookie with sprinkles. I love the sprinkles! Mrs. Claus makes the BEST sugar Christmas cookies. I can almost taste them now. Yum. Santa’s favorite are peppermint cookies. He especially loves them when he’s away from the workshop because they remind him of Christmas. “

Me: “Now to my last few questions. We all know about the Good List, every child wants to be on it, but what about the Naughty list? Are there many children on it?

Elf Sparks:”Oh yes, there are lots of children on the naughty list, even some adults too. There is still hope though, a lot of those on the naughty list make it onto the Good List with last minute good deeds during the Christmas season. It’s important to remember to be good ALL year so you don’t have to worry about making “the cut” right before Christmas”

Me: “People want to know, how does Santa do it? How does he get to every house on the planet in one night? How does he get down the chimney? What if a house doesn’t have a chimney? The whole world wants to know!”

Elf Sparks: “You know the answer, but I’ll tell you. Magic of course! How else? There are billions of children in the world, there’d be no way for Santa to reach them all without magic.  For those without a chimney, he has a magic key, silly!”

Me: “So what’s been the most popular Christmas gift request in 2012 so far?”

Elf Sparks: “Children all over are hoping and wishing to receive a personalized letter from Santa or a personalized gifts from Santa. These letters and boxes are causing a stir all over the world and have made Santa super, extra busy! Children want these packages because it provides overwhelming evidence that Santa is real and assures them that they have made the Good List. Parents can order packages for their children through the Elf-Parent Relation headquarter’s website, www.topsantaletters.com.”

Me: “Is there anything special you would like to say to the children?”

Elf Sparks: “Be happy! Be kind! Smile! Make everyday a bit like Christmas!”

Well there you have it! Your biggest questions about Santa and the Elves have been answered.

New Items- Pre-Flight Checklist and Signed Photo of Santa

July 7, 2012

Santa knew the time would come to provide more evidence than ever of his existence but he always hoped children’s belief in him would be strong enough. Sadly, the time has come for Santa to give the children the proof they’re  after. Every year Santa sends special gifts to some of the kids at the very top of the Good List. Each item is made in the North Pole and is packed full of Christmas spirit. Santa usually reserves these items for the best children but he knows that making these gifts available to ALL the children on the Good List is a great way to provide the proof needed.

This year Santa is introducing his Pre-Flight Checklist. He uses this special list to make sure everything is prepared for the big flight on Christmas Eve. Santa is so busy running around preparing that he sometimes loses his list… ok, a lot of times! Thankfully there are always extras made. Santa is known to drop his list in packages as he’s putting them together. Maybe your child will be lucky enough to get one of these beautifully printed Pre- Flight checklist that is checked off in Green ink by Santa.

And another new item! Santa has a new signed photo this year that he is making available to all the children on the Good List. One of his favorite parts about being Santa is that he gets to do the final check of the Good List each year. It always pleases him to see the same names every year along with all the new good children that have been added. He loves making toys for the good children and just knows that anyone who receives this signed picture of him will cherish it for many years to come.

Order a signed 4×6 photo of Santa checking the Good List. Our photos are glossy prints and have an authentic look.
